Meet Laura
I am passionate about helping others reclaim their Vitality, authentic voice, & sovereignty
Depleted emotionally and physically, I sought out alternative healing practices that provided deep & lasting relief, for myself and others. I synchronistically discovered energy medicine and studied at the Academy of Intuition Medicine®, where I received a Master's Certification in Intuition Medicine®, providing me with the training necessary to practice as a medical intuitive, spiritual counselor, and meditation teacher. In my personal work with energy medicine, I experienced healing from significant trauma, resolution of the aforementioned physical ailments and anxiety, greater mental clarity, an illumination of my authentic self, and a sense of peace and joy like I'd never known. Additionally, I discovered my voice (literally and figuratively), reclaimed my sovereignty, and tapped into my deepest well of inner strength - I am passionate about helping others do the same.
I've more recently been drawn to sound as a powerful healing modality, and am about to complete my Sound Healing and Therapy Certification from The Globe Institute. Sound is an ancient, healing balm that has been utilized across all cultures for millennia, and its benefits are finally being validated by modern science. I am delighted to offer sound as part of my healing work, facilitating energy medicine x sound healing 1:1 sessions, sound baths, as well sound + mindfulness classes for children, adults, and pregnant people.
I have been a student of Western medicine and alternative healing for nearly a decade. Since I was little, I've wanted to help others, but my road there was windy. After graduating from UC Berkeley, I worked for Harvard Business School as well as in the nonprofit and clinical research sectors, constantly searching for a fulfilling way to serve others. Eventually, I fell in love with the idea of becoming a nurse practitioner, took years of prerequisite classes, and studied at University of California, San Francisco. After graduating, I practiced as both a registered nurse in an acute, outpatient setting and as an adult primary care nurse practitioner. In these roles, I witnessed the depth of human suffering, and saw how conventional Western medicine often failed to treat many conditions, particularly chronic illness. It troubled me that, as a nurse practitioner, I couldn't provide patients with comprehensive, holistic treatments that addressed the root cause of their dis-ease.
Additionally, as a highly sensitive person providing care in under-resourced environments, I was expected to do far more than I had capacity for. I gave so much of myself, and I burnt out quickly. Like many healthcare providers, I lacked the energetic tools and boundaries to protect and nourish myself. I prioritized the care of others above my own, and ended up with various physical ailments, plus a lot of anxiety, a confusion about my own needs and desires, and a general dissatisfaction with my life.

In healing, we alchemize our most grueling challenges into our greatest gifts, empowering ourselves to shine brightly in our fullest potential.
